My 80's model 911 widebody requires a rear end respray as their is some blistering under the paint. The Wheel archers have a non skid protector in front of the leading edge of the gaurd. Does anyone know the best way to replace these. Any help appreciated

You can use a 3M type film used for clear bra applications, but there are also some thicker materials w/ rougher texture available as well. If memory serves in the 80s a thicker black shield was used rather than the thinner films used today. I would check w/ Pelican Parts ( Pelican Parts - Porsche Parts & BMW Parts - Automotive Parts and Accessories - Porsche & BMW ) as they have a lot of older Porsche parts. It is possible that something identical or close to the original material is available. Hope this helps.

Thanks mate i'm trying hard to keep it original. As its my first porsche and live in Austraila i have no idea where to look for parts the web is usually a good start but as i found out you got to know where to look. Thanks again
