Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I asked the guy at Camtune and he said it may be the MAF after I fitted the K&N but I mentioned it was doing it before that.
Leading evidence: 'Install k&n' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Install k&n' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I dunno why porsche fitted the thing which cuts the power to the engine under braking.

They also ran a test on the ecu but no faults were stored so hoping that's the end to it.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

No warning lights flashing just gave me a jerk, applied clutch, bit more revs then back to normal but freaky.
Hi again,
One day I'll post some answers rather than questions, honest...
Anyway, car is currently in at Camtune getting a 10mm lowering and the front PU resprayed after a CooperS reversing into me. On the way there, in traffic, I stalled pulling away in 1st gear, the 3rd time I've done that... Then pulling across a junction in 1st just lost power momentarily. No warning lights flashing just gave me a jerk, applied clutch, bit more revs then back to normal but freaky. She's done this a few times, lost power, usually while accelerating in 2nd or 1st. Is this a common problem?
I asked the guy at Camtune and he said it may be the MAF after I fitted the K&N but I mentioned it was doing it before that. Actually if anything the K&N has made 1st and 2nd smoother. He's going to do a diagnostic check and let me know but just concerned that it's the car not my driving. Driving I can improve... hopefully...
Has anyone else had similar experiences? Now paranoid everytime I pull away...
Thanks
Stuart
Just incase anyone is wondering, took it to Camtune who noticed the brake servo sticking and holding the brakes on, therefore cutting power to engine. The brake pedal would travel slightly after releasing and apply the brakes causing the loss of power when pulling away from stop. They also ran a test on the ecu but no faults were stored so hoping that's the end to it.
I dunno why porsche fitted the thing which cuts the power to the engine under braking. Its a right pain, especially when I want to dry the brakes in heavy rain and can make "heel&toe" gearchanges tricky.
I believe its not the fault of porsche but rather the way the DME is designed by Bosch, Audi's have the same issue.. bit of a pain if you wanna do fun things. (heel and toeing anyone remember that).
Porbably a safety feature in case of stuck throttles etc,,, ;(
