This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Hello P-9 people. While cleaning some used OEM headers from E-Bay, I noticed some inconsistencies and some strange damage. The parts are supposed to be off of a 2006 Cayman S and the seller had a lot of other parts off of a black CS, so it looked like a strip yard type of situation. Everything checked out so I made the purchase. Starting with the damage, it almost seems like contact damage at each port. I wonder if this is some type of contact damage. I think I should be fine using it as long as I make sure the mating surface is clean. Moving to the next items, I noticed that the stampings and bolts were different. The more damaged unit on the right side of the picture had the following stamping and bolts: The less damaged unit on the left had the following stamping and bolts: Finally, when looking at the diagram of the headers, the bolts from the header to the exhaust pipe are a different item: Anyone have any ideas about what could be happening here about the damage or why the bolts are different?
