Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Guys, Went to fill top the car this morning with Oil and found what can only be described as Yellow sludge in the cap . Have now got a terrible feeling in the pit of my stomach... Remember another posting on here talking about yellow custard and now fear that I gave the same condition. Can some one put me out of misery or maybe push me over the edge.... Thanks in anticipation... Ian

POST 2Original post

Perfectly normal mate... the long horizontal filler on top of the engine gets condensation in it, turning any residual oil into mayonnaise (don't put it on your chips though  ) Unless you have other symptons that are bothering you, it is highly unlikely that this is any cause for concern!

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thank f that!!! Was just reading the small print on my indy warranty whilst crossing every digit!
