Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

FWIW I found that the leather on my 986 was a lot more fragile than any painted items, and I used the car fairly lightly.
Leading evidence: 'Use car fairly lightly' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use car fairly lightly' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

*Although my camera is working fine, I am not able to download any pictures
yet. I'll send them all to you upon my return.
Yesterday we drove the 997 C4S on the Circuit de Mallorca racetrack. WOW!
Last night we departed for the island of Ibeza, for the Cayman S
introduction. Words cannot describe last night's production, it was
absolutely breathtaking. I'm very short on time right now, but I'll
explain more in a future e mail.
In a few minutes, we will attend our briefing on the Cayman S. Everything
up to last night has focused on the 997 C4 models, but now we turn our
attention to the Cayman S. Last night we were able to put our hands on the
car up close and personal. None of the pictures I've seen so far do this
car justice. It is absolutely beautiful! The lines of the car will take
your breath away. Although at this time I cannot download any photos, the
wait will be worth it! Please be patient...I promise you won't be
dissappointed.
Greetings from the Meditteranean.
PICTURES NOW POSTED BELOW!
I can do without the colored interior....
Are those coat hangers on the seat backs?
Man, I love the 'Lighthouse' picture. I'm glad I found this site! My friends won't talk to me anymore about Caymans....
Partly because I'm obsessed and won't talk about anything else and partly because they're jealous!
Those look like sport seats, are they on all the different seats?
maybe this guy in IBIZA could clear up the debate once and for all by taking some pictures of gt silver and arctic silver cars. thats what i'm talking about!
When I looked at the GT silver it was pretty close to the color of my truck. One reason I passed.
The photos look like they may have as many Cayman's as will be allocated to some countries. Certainly more than will be in my state.
I know we cannot order painted interior parts for November and December builds, but won't that paint chip in the rear if luggage is stored back there? Or would no one think of putting luggage back there. Looks nice now, but what about 2 years from now?
...good point! I kinda like it but think it cheapens the interior as most cars that have the body paint colour inside the cabin are usaually the inexpensive ones where panelling to cover it would have cost more money to produce.
Reminds me of my '64 VW Beetle in Porsche Arrow Blue - colour all across the dash, door frames, etc.

You can get a few painted interior pieces.......just not the whole package. I really don't like the Yellow car with it though......'too much of too much contrast'.......if that makes any sense. I did like the red on sand car with this package though and the cobalt, but for some reason the yellow just looks wrong.
I agree.......if your going to actually use that space back there it might be best to do with out it........or maybe we need a clear bra product for the inside!
Doubt wear on the paint will be a problem unless you plan on throwing heavy and sharp objects around. It's the same paint as the exterior but with a different primer base. I think it looks good and breaks up a rather somber all black interior, but that's just my taste. If they didn't offer it I'm sure no one would demand it. The sport seats backs are painted "volcano gray", the standard seats are interior color vinyl, I don't believe the standard seat backs are leather even with an all leather interior. FWIW I found that the leather on my 986 was a lot more fragile than any painted items, and I used the car fairly lightly.
