I ask, as even though I've replaced both door lock actuators, it's started intermittently not locking/unlocking properly and double beeping the horn.

Now my car has been parked under a dry roof for a year or so, I've suddenly found the rear spoiler deploy issue to have gone. Another thing which has changed is the central locking button lights up red when I'm driving. It's never done this before. Is it normal? I know a lot of cars trigger the CL, when you pull away for security reasons. I ask, as even though I've replaced both door lock actuators, it's started intermittently not locking/unlocking properly and double beeping the horn. PIWIS 2 says "Error 43 - Passenger Side Release Stuck". You can hear when it's going to do it on unlocking as you don't get the satisfying clunk of the door lock actuators fully moving. All doors seem to lock and unlock fine from both inner and outer handles though. I'll check battery voltage this morning, but it's getting driven daily at the moment and when not, is left on a maintenance charger.

Nope, but will do. You can hear it try to unlock, but doesn't give a satisfying clunk, you get a half hearted noise, the 2 beeps.

Watching with interest. My car has developed an issue with the double beep which then sets off the interior alarm. Everything locks and no error codes showing. Resorted to disconecting the negative on the battery when i park up for a while or the alarm goes bonkers. I understand there's a sensor above the rear view mirror so may remove that if i can't crack this one.

I'm struggling to find a relay for the central locking/door actuators. Google isn't throwing anything up either? The relay diagrams don't seem to show anything which could obviously be to do with doors unlocking/locking. Is anyone familiar with the relay location, if there is one? 98 C2 Cab. :thumb:
