After seeing the Cobalt Blue Cayman at the Frankfurt auto showI noticed that the Cobalt color was carried into the side panels behind the seats (and under the side window). On pictures of some other Caymans I notice the finish of these panels look like the regular trim interior (such as the rear center console). I've checked the order guide and cannot find this as an option. Has anyone else noticed this and does anyone know what the 'scoop' is on this?

I noticed this as well. Because this car was at the International debut of the car, I would assume that this was a nice touch that Porsche did to a show car. For the right price you could do this to your Cayman

The US order guide is not correct, it does not even correspond to the US configurator where 805 includes trim strip and gear shift trim and seatbelt housing. The Frankfurt Cobalt cars, as well as some other pictures shows this as well.

Sad that it's not available.......and what's worse is they show it on a fewcars! You can however get the dashstrip, center console/gear shift trim, and some other items painted exterior color though, but the 805 @ $1,190 is a good deal.
