Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

I've never done it, and it doesn't show anything in the workshop manual (it only shows how to change the complete unit), but I would imagine it would clip in somehow.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi I need to replace the headlight washer cover and jet nozzle on my 2003 C2. Is it a simple DIY or should i book the car in shop? I already ordered the parts from Porsche Parts Thanks Luis Redinha

I've never done it, and it doesn't show anything in the workshop manual (it only shows how to change the complete unit), but I would imagine it would clip in somehow. Maybe Terry might drop by soon and tell you how he did it: http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/fb.asp?m=259245

Thanks Richard, It´s a real pleasure to be part of such a wonderful forum and you are fantastic Luis

POST 4Original post

Luis It is pretty easy but slightly fiddly. You have to get the headlight washer jet to stand up from the headlight unit. The Porsche centre suggested getting someone to operate the washer system whilst you catch it in the extended position but I found if you were careful you could gently lever it up. Then pull the whole unit out as far as it will go, about a couple of inches, and you will see that the washer jet unit fits into a grey plastic sleeve. the washer jet just pushes into place but to get the old one out you need to lift the tab slightly where you can see the black of the jet showing through. That may sound complex but when you look at it it is fairly obvious. A Porsche centre would do it in just a few minutes if you were concerend about it. Hope this helps Terry
