Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi everyone, After owning my car for about 6 months and ironing out the little bits and pieces that needed doing from purchase, I've been able to seriously enjoy it in the last few weeks, really finding how rewarding it can me on Norfolk B Roads However, on Saturday morning though I went to my car and as I drove out of the drive I realised the steering was a little stiff, as I continued to drive on the faster roads I realised it was very stiff. I stopped on the side of the road and turned the wheel full to the left and right until it hit the stop making the normal juddering noise, loading the engine, and seemed to feel normal - so the power steering appeared to be working perfectly when stationary. Just in case, I then checked all my tyres which were at the correct pressures. It isn't so noticeable at low speeds but through bends at middle speeds it seems almost like there's no power steering. I'm guessing that it's something like a failed bush, pump, or dare I say it, the rack. Could anyone help me? Thanks, Alex
