Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Has anyone installed these in a Boxster? I've seen them for 911, Panamera, etc. 2X LED Door Courtesy Projector Light for Porsche Panamera Cayman 911 | eBay

POST 2Original post

That is sweet - If someone does this please post some pics of the install.

POST 3Original post

It's been done. Do a search and you'll find it You have to drill holes into the bottom of the door, though. You couldn't pay me to break through the paint and put a hole in mine.

POST 4Original post

Looking at the projectors they are part of the lens unit, why would you need to drill a hole in the bottom of the door? Are the lens different size?

Drill a hole in your what?

POST 6Original post

Comes as an option on some bimmers and mustangs. Personally I find it a little tacky though. Nice door sill guards is enough grandeur for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I did not actually look at the link. I've never seen these type. No drilling required Tacky as heck, though.

POST 9Original post

Yes! There are some easier to install, no drilling required. My father has them on his 928... I laugh at him every time!
