Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ok it's a very nice low mileage example with a bodykit but £32k ... wow! https://www.cameronsportscars.com/v...le-in-chippenham-south-gloucestershire-u1351/

POST 2Original post

Think you missed pressing the shift key there. No cruise control would be the deal breaker at that price.

POST 4Original post

I could understand it if it was the sought-after 996.1 with the Boxster console delete, but not for a 996.2! MC

POST 6Original post

Cruise control on a 996... Nice to have but if you need to use it all the time you're obviously not driving enough b-roads #justsaying :thumb:

POST 7Original post

An essential upgrade if you ever drive on UK motorways, you need to be able to control your speed through roadworks and it can be hard to keep a 911 to 50 mph!

POST 8Original post

Yeah essential imo, even worse the stretches with average speed cameras.

POST 9Original post

I miss it especially on those super slow streets of my city, where keeping the speed is super absorbing

POST 10Original post

My car has cruise fitted, must be worth 33k now

POST 11Original post

Find it hard to use cruise control in the UK due to all the numpties that sit in the wrong lane when they aren't overtaking. But it is great if you are planning any long trips over on the continent. I've not taken my 996 (or 944) abroad yet, but I'm planning to and the lack of cruise control is probably going to make my poor legs ache

POST 12Original post

Interesting fact... In America pre cruise control the truckers used to 'lay the hammer down" on their gas peddle to let their throttles run wide open. Who needs cruise control? You just need a big hammer
