I'm assuming there is movement in them to get the to line up and tightening the flange seals it.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anyone know if the flange on the low pressure pipe under the car by the rear wheel turns/spins on the pipe? The o ring is leaking I would assume, I've taken out the allen bolt and split the pipe to remove the o ring but notice both flanges turn on the pipe!! Might be normal or might be they are goosed. The long pipe has only recently been changed so would be surprised if it's not normal but just asking the question?. I'm assuming there is movement in them to get the to line up and tightening the flange seals it. Anyway thanks in advance.

POST 2Original post

I did mine recently don't remember the flanges moving but I had to do it twice because of a leak there, it's hard to see both ends and clean it all.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ok Berni cheers for that. It looked oks like you wouldn't notice movement in them unless you actually tried to twist them.

POST 4Original post

They both rotate at that point . Use grips to hold in position when tightening .

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yep though so, thanks for confirming. Much appreciated :thumb:
