Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Has anyone had the pleasure of removing the door panels on a 2007 CS, I'am not sure where all the fastening points are, and could use some help.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Has anyone had the pleasure of removing the door panels on a 2007 CS, I'am not sure where all the fastening points are, and could use some help. Thanks

POST 2Original post

1) Pry out the round plastic cover behind your door handle(the plastic handle you pull to open the door). You need to remove the door handle to ease the removal of the door panel.(1 philip screw) There will be 1 torx screw to unscrew. 2) Pry out the door pull( the handle you pull to close your door).Remove 2 torx screw. 3) From the side of the door panel, remove the upper plastic cover to reveal 1 torx screw. 4) Pry from the bottom up the triangular plastic piece that house the side mirror adjustment button. Remove 1 torx screw. 5) Pop the side light out. 6) Silde a flat head screw driver or any tools to allow you to grab the bottom of the door panel. Pull out the door panel. Some pulling force is needed to pop those panel clips out. Once you pop those clips out, lift the door panel upwards to clear. Hope the above info helps.

Someone PLEASE take photos and do an article for the Articles section!!! Door panel removal gets asked fairly often and we don't have a good how-to article yet!

POST 4Original post

It isn't a phillips screw that holds the handle on. It's a torx - at least it is on my 2006.

POST 5Original post

Thanks for the door panel info, I'll give it a shot.
