Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi all
Just wondered if anybody has any experience regarding these exhausts?

My originals are close to having had their day and Porsche are looking for £2700 for non PSE boxes which mine are and i'm just exploring options at the moment.
I'm wanting to stay within the OEM and these look ok but being made of stainless is concerns me such as do they sound tinny or give off a resonance / drone?
I can't find any reviews on them or sound clips.
:thumb:
I had one fitted last year as he. Ar had an after market exhasit that sounded great but droned at anything above 60mph, which to me was just horrible.
Very pleased with the Dansk sports exhaust , sounds great, bit louder than stock but no drone at any revs.
Just bought another 996 with Dansk sports exhaust already fitted by previous owner
Whilst they do have some build quality issues re. the seams eventually going , as already discussed here, the sound really is excellent
Done a mixture of driving and love the noise...not too loud and not noticed any droning on the motorway..in my view not a dissimilar PSE

Forgot to say, the Top Gear are a fraction of the cost, lifetime guarantee in your ownership, better build quality and lighter than the DANSK.

I have some old sound clips:

Top Gear
My 2003 C4S came with Dansk back boxes. Less than 30,000 miles on them and the flex pipes were already rotten, and one of the welds that join the mounting bracket was so poor, a quarter inch diameter hole had opened up. I've replace them with Top Gear mild sports exhausts and the build quality and fit on them is excellent (I fitted them myself). Very happy with the sound too!
