This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I wanted to thank you all for for the topics and unintended information over the history while I lurked. I've been a BMW owner (please no flames) since highschool, always admired Porsches from a distance. My father had a few 911's in the past, just never thought I would catch the bug.
Hope is gone, looking forward to testing the boundaries of my relationship with my significant other due to the building obsession with this car.
Thanks again for the tricks and tips!

I've definitely grown as a person, unfortunately I think growing up from acting like a 13 year old only puts me at a mental age of around 16-17 (still grin from ear to ear every time I put my foot into the loud pedal).
Thanks for the welcomes!
82K 1999, IMS hasn't been done, but it needs a clutch soon so will do it while I'm in there. PPI and oil analysis showed nothing going on with either of those things but as you guys know, replacing it regularly seems to be the for sure thing :-). Just trying to justify the eternal bearing fix with the kit on Vertex instead of going with another ball bearing type (even if it is a ceramic hybrid type).
for not being paranoid about it.
Though if you aren't paranoid about it I don't understand how you'll start your "I'm new and have this great new idea about the IMSB!" thread
Welcome, I was a Bimmer enthusiast as well, now my daughter is carrying the flag, I always dream of having a Porsche specifically the 911

Thanks! They are the Porsche Sport Design in 19" sizing. I had to massage the inside of the wheel lips to get them to fit better and not cut the rear tires but they fill out the underside well!
