Took the car to Alekshop in Fremont to get the height adjusted with a corner balance along with more negative camber.

Yes, the PPF is bad and needs removed. Its discolored and not a full coverage piece of film. Like you said though, it's done its job and will look great again once removed and new film applied. It's on the list of projects to get that removed plus full paint correction and PPF reapplied.

Wow! Really nice!. All I'll say is there is now another 996 on forum that is cleaner than mine. Super clean.
Also, that road seems quite familiar. If I guess, it's Patterson Pass Road between Livermore and Tracy. Super fun.

Next update was a set of new wheels and tires. I'm the creative director at APEX Wheels so I had to throw on our new forged Sprint Line EC-7RS wheels on the car. I matched them with Falken RT660 tires and threw on PFC08 track pads to get this car ready to tackle some Norcal tracks this season.
Front - 18x9 ET46 and 255/35/18
Rear - 18x10 ET44 and 285/30/18
White is soooo good and the new forged wheels look awesome. My good bud Aaron has a set on his turbo and they are even better in person.
I'm torn between the aerokit wing and the duck bill but I think I lean towards the duck bill - regardless, car is dope.
Last update for now. I wanted a bit more aggressive ride height and more track focused alignment. Took the car to Alekshop in Fremont to get the height adjusted with a corner balance along with more negative camber. Ended up with -3 front and -2.6 rear camber all said and done. Photos from Sonoma Raceway just a week after getting the work done.
After the track, I dropped the car off at Bay Area Detail and Aux auto wraps to finally clean up that old ppf, get a paint correction and refilmed the front half of the car..
Super clean and well put together 996! People say white is boring but I love a sports car in white! The wheels look really nice on the car and kudos for keeping the amber side markers. They look great on white.
I have a white 1999 C4, and before buying I didn't much like white cars, but it is growing on me.
I think the ducktail looks awesome, now I want to buy one for mine.

Question for you: I was poking around Apex�s website and I can�t find this combination of width and offset. The site lists 18x10+36 or 18x10.5+44. Is your post a typo or will there be a new offering?

Try NOT shooting from eye level, how 99% of people look at a car. Get down on the ground, use foreground and background to your advantage. Maybe we should start a 996 photography thread? You can get some awesome results with a cell phone or a basic camera these days!
yo_keutla's shots are always on point.
I follow him on IG and he has a very very nice camera set up, also has the skills to get the camera set correctly. If you have IG, he's def worth the follow.
I do and definitely follow him. All my photos are done with either my pixel or my little mirrorless Fuji X100V that doesn't even zoom! No amount of equipment can substitute having a good eye ... and finding awesome locations.

Saw the video yesterday - well done! Great job talking about the 996 from the perspective that really matters. Who knew you could talk about the 996 and not even mention any of 459 modes of failure. I love my SM-10 wheels but the ones on your car have me thinking sometimes....
