Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am looking to put aluminium mesh on the radiator cowlings when I do the compressors is there any concensus on the size of the mesh the zunsport ones look quite large i was thinking 16mm *10 mm to minimise airflow loss Halfords dont mention the size of theirs I know demon tweeks do a variety marketed as race "to minimise air flow loss" is this the same as porsche fairy dust http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/grilles-mesh/simoni-racing-aluminium-grille-mesh it does in fairness look like there is a slight bevel edge facing the air flow any thoughts please

POST 2Original post

I just used black "performance mesh" from Halfords. IMHO the Zunsport ones look horrendous.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

POST 5Original post

It is difficult to get a handle on the size of the Simoni mesh in the link, but it looks the same size as the Ripspeed Competition mesh that Halfords sell.
