Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I just finished installing LEDs in my doors, foot well lights, dome light and front and rear trunk. The only issue I have and haven't found a solution for is the glove box and rear trunk lights. The glove box didn't work with the LED so I put the stock one back in and it also was inoperative. I noticed that it has a diode on it which checks out good. There is also no power to the connector. It did work before changing over to the LED. On the rear trunk light, when I install the LED it lights for a second then goes off. I does work fine with the incandescent installed. The front trunk LED is fine. I have double checked the polarity of the bulbs and all fuses are good and I get no error codes or CEL. I searched this site among others and haven't found anything. I'm also not sure how the glove box light gets switched on. Thanks for any help, Jerry
