My driver's side seatbeat buckle won't lock on the driver side. The passenger side seatbeat buckle will lock the driver's seatbelt, but not the other way around. Any ideas? Events leading up to the issue: I recently installed some sport seats that I got from a salvaged car. Last night I installed them and made sure to have the battery disconnected. When I hooked the battery up again, the passenger airbag light still popped up. Went out out a drive, the driver's side seatbeat buckled just fine. When I got back, I tried clearing the code with an OBII reader (iCarSoft POR V2.0) but the code still persisted (AWS error). Next morning, the driver's sidebeat buckle won't lock the seatbelt.

I don't know about the error but if you are saying the metal tab will not click and hold into the belt receiver that is completely mechanical and suggests an issue within the receiving socket itself. I just checked my sport seats to be certain.

Yeah, sorry the explanation isn't the best but I figured all the information is important. But yes, it seems like the issue is entirely on the driver's side receiving socket. Strange that it popped up after those events and after I had the seats stored in my house for a couple days.

Aren't the belts the same as before? I don't see what changes regarding the belts with a seat swap. Again, not sure about the codes but I sincerely doubt that has any nexus with the belt click lock.

I managed to get a raison stuck in my buckle. That caused some difficulty in getting the other end to lock in consistently. What a mess getting that out.
