I have PCM1 and the problems started last week: the cd interchanger is unrecognised...I get a message 'No CD player' - I originally put this down to not having used the car for a while and the cds being covered in condesation orsomething.

Its seems the ' audio part has crashed, as I cannot change stations or change to AM etc..

Hi guys, Have done a search and haven't been able to find any information from previous posts. I have PCM1 and the problems started last week: the cd interchanger is unrecognised...I get a message 'No CD player' - I originally put this down to not having used the car for a while and the cds being covered in condesation orsomething. Yesterday as I was driving along, the sound of radio stopped. Its seems the ' audio part has crashed, as I cannot change stations or change to AM etc.. the satvnav works but again no sound. Any suggestions? Could it be some connections have become loose from behind? or any fuses? Is it worthwhile disconnecting the battery? to try and reset it?
