Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Until I saw it, I didn't realize how many quotes were (purposely?) being used daily at my work place.
Leading evidence: 'Use daily at my work place' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace name, he's the one' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hey Gang,
Who can give me the breakdown on Lumbergh's P-car in Office Space? You know, year, official color, and obvious mods/options, etc. Some co-workers here were interested in knowing.
Oh, and if you work in high tech and have not seen Office Space, back away from the computer right now and go rent it.
And make sure you get the new cover on your TPS reports...
Cheers.
Hey Erikv,
All I have for you is a quote:
Bob Porter: Looks like you've been missing a lot of work lately.
Peter Gibbons: Well, I wouldn't exactly say I've been *missing* it, Bob.
"Hey Peter, look out for your corn-hole"!
All I remember about the car was it was an SC, it had a whaletail, it was black with factory Fuchs, and I THINK it was a coupe.
The only mod I remember was that eventually the rear bumper was modded right off the car!
Just saw the movie yesterday, and I think SRL is right about it being an SC, but it was a medium blue color and if definitely was a coupe.
"Why don't you just go by Mike?"
"Why should I change my name, he's the one that sucks! Everything was fine until that no-talent a$$ clown starting getting famous and winning Grammys."
Brian
Here's a list of Porsches in famous movies:

Not much detail on the car from Office Space, though.
Oh, check out this page from IMDB.com for more funny quotes from Office Space.

Hey Wes, can't help but quote that movie. Like I said, if you work in high tech (or are any type of cubical gopher...), this movie is a must-see. Until I saw it, I didn't realize how many quotes were (purposely?) being used daily at my work place.
Fishman, long time no talk; hope the 944 is treating you well. Yeah, I was mostly looking for what I call the "Porsche declension" (ref linguistics). My son and I do it all the time driving around the bay area... "That's a C4S Cab, Lapis blue, black top, HRE wheels, umm, looks like a 2004 Daddy!". He actually knows (at 4 years old) how to distinguish, at distance, a C4S Cab from my C4Cab. Gotta love it!
Okay, obligatory OS quote:
[printer starts beeping]
Michael Bolton: "PC Load Letter"? What the f*** does that mean?
lol.. No problem bud, i completly understand. I work in a high tech office (network admin). Speaking of your quote, about 20min ago i was working on a PIX firewall, it gave me the oddest error.. i'm was like "What the F**** does that mean!"
Hee, hee, hee... Network admin, whoa, I feel your pain! I won't tell you what products I've worked; you might want to get on a plane and give me a "visit".
Nice 944 by the way... I've got a special place in my heart for those cars. If I ever get some more garage space, they top my list!
Cheers.
Firshman, good to hear from ya. Yes, I'm trying to pass on my car enthusiasm to my kids. I think even my daughter (11 mos old) will be a gear head.
Taking them to the SJ Gran Prix this weekend!
BTW, for anyone else in the same boat as me, here's my son's all time favorite book:
"Twelve Little Race Cars" by Scott and Judy Pruett
If you have young kids, this book is just the greatest!
(Usual disclaimers, no affiliation, just a happy book owner)
FWIW, it was a powder blue 911 SC with whaletail Targa if I can remember correctly. Don't forget the "MYPRSCHE" License plate and aftermarket immobiliser/alarm system.
....and I almost forgot, I'm also gonna need you to go ahead and come in on Sunday too....yeah, we lost some people last week, and we sorta need to play catch up, mmmmkay? Thaaaaanks
Sorry for the late response (and for resurrecting this old post) but I just found this link. Come on! I know you geeks want one -- I know I do!
