Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

3 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

So, I start the Cayman this afternoon and the CD starts playing where it left off. I wanted to turn the volume down, but it didn't work. In fact, none of the buttons worked. So I shut the car off and removed the key. Then I restarted the car and the same thing happened. Finally, I pulled fuse D9 and replaced it after 10 seconds and this fixed the problem. Anyone else have this problem before?

POST 2Original post

i had the problem were the cd wouldnt play, but then i pressed many buttons and got it fixed.

POST 3Original post

BD that happened to me with my '06 Cayman S, I did a lot of research on becker's forums but couldn't come up with much except that the unit's interface had a memory address error or something random like that... I disconnected my battery for 5 minutes and then reconnected and everything worked fine. Supposedly that resets things in the car. - Suneet

POST 4Original post

Thanks for the reply Suneet. I'll mention it to the dealer if I ever take it in to get the Chrono fixed (second hand doesn't work)
