I too bought a Durametric and it works quite well at picking up all error codes, even those that use the extended subset exclusive to Porsche.

I actually use the Durametric quite a lot... It's very compact, straight foreward and Porsche-specific. It does everything our $8000 Porsche System 2 Tester does and then some

I too bought a Durametric and it works quite well at picking up all error codes, even those that use the extended subset exclusive to Porsche. You can also reset all of the error codes. The shop I take my Cayman to for special things did not know about this and promptly bought one too.
