Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, This is my first post so firstly hello. I am looking at buying a 996 Cabrio. Ideally in black with black leather, must have's are side skirts, PSE, and would like the Bose upgrade. I would be wanting a 2002 model to get the facelift and 3.6. I have found a coulple but the prices seem to differ enormously. What would you think this would be priced at, I have seen one at 29999 and one at 35000? Is there anything I should be wary of on this and do you think I am being to choosy? Many thanks Stuart

POST 2Original post

If you get a Carrera 2, then I would say PSM is essential (it's OEM on the C4) + 18" wheels. Also, I would look for the usual things, HPI clear, UK car (C16 designation) and low owners. Cabs tend to have a slighter higher owner change though. Also, if you're after a cab, buy it quickly, as the prices rise in March/April time...by 1-2k. Closer to the top end of your budget will get you a good example from an Independent, about 35-40k miles. Cheers.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

do they really rise that much in march time?
