This is not a probability of success.

Order the right adapter, get some clean gloves (I like to get white cotton gloves for work on the interior), get the right torx screwdrivers, than read K-Man S article on how to remove.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

I've searched and have read all the threads on integrating an Ipod with the MOST Head Units and still can not find a clear answer. I have the Bose stereo system without PCM. Has anyone hard wired a FM modulator in this system? Thanks!

POST 2Original post

Yes, it will work. I have FM modulator working right now and it works fine. There is no question that hardwired config works much better than over-the-air.

POST 3Original post

i have the same, wired fm modulator in a bose psm system for my ipod. works great. not CD quality but pretty close. I will probably upgrade to new dension 500 once some bugs are worked out.

POST 4Original post

Great! I was hoping it would work. Is the installation pretty straight forward, something I can easily do myself?

POST 5Original post

Order the right adapter, get some clean gloves (I like to get white cotton gloves for work on the interior), get the right torx screwdrivers, than read K-Man S article on how to remove. Do it patiently and it is piece of cake. If you start skipping through the steps, that is when you discover problems (I rushed, did not read about that screw in the side that makes theft harder and spent half hour wondering what I did wrong, until I re-read the article). Antenna adapter you need to buy is http://www.tss-radio.com/european-antenna-adapter-p-4069.html Article you need to read many times, print out, and than have with you in the car is: http://www.planet-9.com/reviews/showproduct.php?product=92&cat=5
