Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Or is there a better way to implement the spacer to lower the engine than using crude bolt spacers for the front engine mount cradle?

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Hello, Im the proud owner of a 05 Boxster S with a 3.8L engine swap. In looking at the details of the conversion, I can see that the front engine mount has been lowered via a spacer to allow the engine to fit inside the engine cover and cover frame. Are other inlet manifolds such as the X51 lower that allow the elimination of the spacer?: or do the y fall further back in the engine compartment that eliminates the interference with the body frame around the engine cover opening?: Or is there a better way to implement the spacer to lower the engine than using crude bolt spacers for the front engine mount cradle? Thanks in advance for your comments! Jpr

POST 2Original post

Is the X-51 plenum shorter than the stock 3.8L carrera S?
