Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

In addition to what you're doing, check the belt as well (recommended every 5k miles or so) - I attached a tech article from our site on this procedure if needing to be changed.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My 2005 997.1 C2S has around 52k miles. I bought it as a CPO and it had crapped its IMS and Porsche put a replacement in at 42k miles under warranty. Strangely it also had a new 6-speed transmission put in at 48k miles. Given the engine only has 10k miles on it, but chassis has >50k miles - what maintenance should I be doing on it? Up to now I've only done oil and filter (while under CPO warranty). No issues I'm aware of, and it doesn't go through oil.
