Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I am obsessed with the 996. Ever since I realised I can afford a 996, I have been reading about it, dreaming about it, perving over it!
I think i need help... and the worst part is... I don't even have it yet!
3 more months to go.
Somebody please help me!
Feed the addiction! Know how you feel as it was this time last year I also realised I was in a position to buy one and my weekly search suddenly turned daily before coming hourly in the final few weeks before the eventual purchase!

When I got my Audi TT (one of the early ones with proper suspension), I often said the only thing I would change it for was a Carrera 4 - and look what happened!
You won't regret it: Maintenance costs a little higher (but not much if you use independents), depreciation probably less now - as TTs are not what they were in that respect, and smiles per mile at least doubled
Go for it...
The way you feel is still fresh in my mind as I only collected mine a couple of months ago.
Something I now realise is that they are much (much) better and more capable than you imagine  ..... hope this helps ..
just sold my 2005 quattro sport 240 tt which was probably the best of the 1st generation tts. Got crap money for it against a mint 2001 c2 tip, but soooooooooo worth it! porsche is fab!
Best o luck
That was me a few months back and then i ditched my plans for a range rover to ferry the kids and the dog etc and bought myself a 996c2. Do i miss the practicality - emphatically no (we have a grand vitara for that) and if it doesn't put a smile on your face every time you drive it you need your head seeing to! Having driven a TVR in the past this is a million miles better - genuinely affordable supercar - you could be dead and buried in a week mate so get it bought!
I've done over 20k in the last year in mine, and I'm still obsessed!
Once you've got it, its all the little mods you start planning next, to make it
yours

I'm going to be looking in March time for hopefully a Targa prob a 2003 manual (low mileage), silver or seal grey car. I`ll be selling my Audi TT privately this month. I know i`ll get £13.5k for it. just need to save another £1.5.k. The rest will be a loan!
Can't wait..................................................!
I still need to test drive one....!
