Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

It is possible I suppose, but it seems highly unlikely since when I came to remove the remaining two I needed to use a screwdriver.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Only had my new 996 tts for one week and some cretin pinched one of the wheel centre badges (coloured metal types - just stuck on). Managed to get a replacement on Ebay, went to put it on, and what the heck, another one's gone!
So I've taken them all off. Doesn't look as good. But can't be doing with them going missing all the time.
It is possible I suppose, but it seems highly unlikely since when I came to remove the remaining two I needed to use a screwdriver. Also two to fall off in one week :!:
Nope, honestly, 2 of mine were on fine, the third OK, the fourth has never even come loose........2 of mine fell off within a fortnight (I blame the roads of Suffolk!), so I'd stick them back on (with loads of glue) and make the car look cool again
I am tempted to put them back. You can fix them with two small screws rather than glue. But if it is theives, which I still tend to think it is, then they will nick the whole centre cap and they're £45 each from an OPC.
I lost 3 badges from brand new wheel centers last winter on a trip back from Brittany.
These were replaced under warranty.
You can obtain the badges to glue back on yourself. Way cheaper than a set from an OPC.
This IS more common than Porsche will admit, especially during the cold wet months.
Also had the same problem recently and got replacement badge for £9.50
from Germany off Ebay from
fine-porsche
or the complete centre hub from

for £40.00. There wasn't much glue holding the originals on so I am assuming mine just came loose.

The little shields have a reputation for dropping off. I had one on the garage floor once with the Targa. It's no surprise because they are just stuck on to the bare plastic. If you want them to stick, scratch the plastic of the cap and the back of the badge - it gives the glue somethiong to key to. I seriously doubt someone is nicking them.
As others have said the metal badges are prone to falling off in no time.
The best thing to do is remove the badge and any residual glue and restick them with windscreen adhesive or something like Sikaflex - you need a glue that stays rubbery and slightly flexible rather than rock hard.
Worth doing to new ones before you lose the badge!
Right then, it seems the consensus is that the badges are falling off rather than being stolen.
So I've put them back but this time secured with two M2.5 screws, so they can't fall off.
Let's see if the whole centre cap goes awol this time!
