put it this way, I just got offered £23500 from OPC for my facelift C4 with 44k miles, high spec and new engine fitted by them when I toyed with the idea of getting a new Boxster instead.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi All, Can I just get a quick consensus of opinion please.... I have just been offered £23,500 for my car... It's a 2000 C2, with 49k, Meridian Silver, Switchable PSE, Premium Sound Pack, Traffic Pro SatNav, under OPC Warrranty till August, FPSH http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=355298 Is it a fair price??

POST 3Original post

Me too. My brother just sold his 1999 C4 for £23500 - it had more miles, but very similar spec. You might find a buyer at a slightly higher price but you would be lucky. I'd take it if I were you.

put it this way, I just got offered £23500 from OPC for my facelift C4 with 44k miles, high spec and new engine fitted by them when I toyed with the idea of getting a new Boxster instead. I politely declined...

POST 6Original post

I think if you have another car lined up then it is worth going for it, if you can hold on then you may get a bit more, as it sounds a very well looked after one, with low milage. There are so many cheap 996 about then when you look at what it what you know why. Rob - What was the out come with your car i read that you have a new engine did Porsche or OPC pay the bill?

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well I have 2 interested parties....One is coming tomorrow morning who will pay £23,750 and the fall back will pay £23,500....... Will update tomorrow....... PS: £23,500 for a facelift is SHOCKING!
