Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Please help me out here. I just replaced the hydronic rams on each side and refilled the reservoir with oil. The top was working PERFECTLY and quietly. Ive had a dash light indicating the roll bars behind the seats need attention. I popped them manually and then reseated them and the light didnt go away. It made me wonder if a prior owner had a hard top and maybe that triggered it. Here is where Im an idiot- I took the red tool in the picture and messed with those screws on each side. Now the drivers side doesnt function and the clamshell for the roof doesnt close by about 2 I can mess with the screws on each side and I can get the roof to close and latch or drop but the drivers side flap doesnt work anymore when the roof opens or closes and I think thats whats stopping the roof from closing. Worst part, Im showing the car to a potential buyer tomorrow morning. Im SO MAD I messed with this thing. Roof is currently down/open but if I close it and reopen it it doesnt latch anymore and stays open a couple inches unless I mess with these screws. I searched the forum boards and came up short before posting. Any help if highly appreciated. Thanks from NH! Cory

Bump. Any ideas? I think I may have thrown a micro switch or something.
