Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

26 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

 • Planet-9: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Here are a few pics of the Techart Bodykit. I just got back from the shop and it has been raining all day, so the quality of the photos aren't the best. I think it looks amazing./fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/teeth_smile.gif

POST 2Original post

Can you take a pic with your factory wing in the UP position to see what it looks like then?

POST 3Original post

It looks amazing! One of the nicest looking Cayman's I have yet seen. How much was the complete kit with installation if you don't mind me asking?

POST 6Original post

KMANS the factory wing had to be deactivatedaccording to the Techart manual,if not it would bump into the Techart wing. I like the look with the double spoiler.

POST 7Original post

it looks fast even when parked!!! did you get the Tubi installed yet?

POST 8Original post

Very nice body kit. How much is it? Does it come pre-painted?

POST 9Original post

Thanks for the compliments guys. /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/shades_smile.gif The price was about $2600 painted and installed. The kit does not come pre-painted. I don't know the exact price because it was all included with the wheels and lowering kit. No Tubi yet. Champion already has them but I haven't been able to swing by and get it done. POST 10Original post

I think the front lip and side skirts look great. I'm not sold on the rear spoiler tho. Overall I think your car looks fantastic. Good job!./fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/thumbsup.gif

POST 11Original post

Looks great! Have you considered blacking out the fog light vein? Might look tight IMHO. Dave

POST 14Original post

Your Cayman looks great. I'm going to call my local Techart dealer now!

POST 16Original post

How much did they lower the car? Be really careful about protecting that front lip spoiler from damage caused by speed bumps, curbs, and driveways! Looks awesome.

POST 17Original post

Wow! Your car looks great! Can someone tell me how I would go about looking for a local TechArt dealer/installer? I plan on havingclear bra installed on my car. I wonder if they have the clear bra available for the body kit as well.

POST 18Original post

The Clear Bra is just a rectangular sheet of clear plastic (or whatever the stuff is). It stretches around anything you got.

POST 19Original post

Yes I have considered it. I am still not completely sold on it yet.

POST 20Original post

The Teachart manual said you can do it on a computer at the dealer or by unplugging a wiring harness in the trunk area that only deactivates the rear spoiler. They unplugged the wiring harness.

POST 21Original post

Well to each his own I suppose. I know some like it and the more power to them.

POST 24Original post

front and rear look good - side sills look terrible and not integrated

POST 25Original post

Stunning!!! I'd be scared I would not make it over a speed bump though. Swamp

quote:
front and rear look good - side sills look terrible and not integrated
Roger, I wasn't convinced on the side skirts after looking at them more. I went to Techarts site and the side skirts are flush with the bottom of the door. Mine has a small gap so it doesn't look right. I already communicated with the shop and I will have it looked at Friday.
Edited by - tomasp77 on 06/28/2006 06:37:34 AM
