Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Just a FYI on my recent and first trip to the dealer after purchase. Fixed/Repaired 1 Check engine light CAT converters 2 Passenger window module faulty replaced 3 Various small and one larger scratches buffed and repaired 4 Passenger mirror whistle Porsche bulletin: fixed 5 Cup holder bracket (silver piece that runs along the outside) loose and drooped repaired loose screw Posted this for new owners who have similar problems as above and what happened at dealer. I was distraught at first about the above problems but after reading the site felt comfortable that I was not alone. I still have a loud rattle behind the driver side hatch area....dealer put felt in the privacy area partition but did not help. He also thought the sound first came from the CATS. Nope...will continues searching the site for idea's. Ken

POST 3Original post

Actually that should have been the passenger window module. This allows the window to slightly go down to protect the molding, then slide up when the door is closed. Sorry for the confusion. :burnout: Ken

POST 4Original post

I thought I had an option that I didn't know about.

POST 5Original post

Wow Ken, this hits a chord. I have right at 1100 miles too - had a CAT converter fail that was repaired by a dealer, silver trip on cup holder is drooping. Passenger mirror whistle - what is this (Porsche bulletin)? I definitely had it but thought it was just the way it was. Thanks for the heads up.

POST 6Original post

My dealer mentioned that were aware of the passenger side whistle through a bulletin they received via Porsche. I just noticed another item not working tonight..not a big deal though...the driver side sun shade light not working. Back to the dealer.
