I have noticed a very slight idle vibration. It is almost undetectable unless you are looking for it. Perhaps it is just the car and is do to the engine so close to the driver. Just wondering if everyone is experiencing this. I still have stock exhaust.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I've noticed this (CS is stock) as well. Doesn't really bother me as it is so slight. Kind of feels like the car is impatient sitting still
do you allow your car to warm up daily?
Yes and my car is only 5 days old.
Mine only does it upon initial startup. It's not really noticeable, and goes away once it's been warmed up.
None here.
2 days old yup I notice it too. "rough" idle upon cold start up. after car is warmed up it's disappears. by the way, what is a typical RPM after cold start up everybody is experiencing? thanks, Mike
have similar problem, almost unnoticeable but small vibration at idle.. around 750-800 RPM, gone when driving... anybody any ideas of potential fix?
Does anyone have more information on this? Mine has a slight vibration during idle, even when fully warmed up. Almost feels like a lumpy cam car would. Runs smooth at any speed above idle.
I took mine to the dealer for the same problem, then the service guy started up a brand new CS and a brand new 911 -both under 9 miles. He wanted to show me the difference in the "rough idling" They both were rough at first but then after a minute they settled down. The 911 was still not as smooth as the CS. he showed me with the door open how much the glass on the door vibrated. "this is normal on these cars, they are angry monsters that want to play" then I laughed and punched him in the neck. JK But he did mention that they do idle this way. Mine wasnt as bad guess with more miles they settle down I have 4K on the odometer.:burnout:
My car takes about 40 seconds in higher idle and a really nice cammy sound emits from the exhaust. Beautiful note! Idle then drops to about 825-850
Anyone care to explain why this might be a "problem".
Cold start vibration I've had both a Honda & Audi with a slight vibration when starting them from cold. It goes away as soon as they warm up. I beleive it has something to do with the "cold start" system of FI.
If a car is missing at idle when fully warmed up, would you not agree it is a problem? My 987 Boxster never missed at idle when fully warmed up.
Missing yes, slight almost unnoticeable vibration (as described above) I don't know. Tried to relplicate it but either mine doesn't have it or I am not sensitive enough to detect it.
