hi all, not been very active on here for a while but thought id return to update, im currently the owner of 2x 996 turbos, 1 is completely standard, which ive owned for the last 3 plus years. the other (new) is a x50 with aero, which i recently bought from collecting cars auction, for what on the face of it looked a bargain, however its already been to my local indy after the drive home revealed it needed a new clutch, (which of course the seller knew nothing about!!! yeh right) . My other one having full porsche main dealer history and being standard i always wanted to keep that way.
this one however i think im happy to do a few upgrades, so started this thread as a way of keeping track..
the first of which is the upgraded performance clutch kit from design911.
other change i have already made is to replace the x50s anthracite wheels with my turbos silver wheels
the anthracite wheels had brand new N rated tyres fitted within the last 50 miles or so,, but hopefully that will be a good selling point on my standard turbo, rather than me mess on taking the tyres off to swap accross.
hopefully i can find a new home for my standard turbo in the spring/ summer, until then im happy to keep both.

Thanks. I'd love to have a straight line traffic light blast before my other one is sold though... I think there would only be 1 winner. My x50 boosts at upto 1.2bar. So I suspect its been remapped at some point. I think my standard one is 0.7 I think.
X50 looks very nice but what's the details on your standard car? I've just started looking for another 996/7 Turbo.
