I have 4300K on her and everytime I tame off the seatbelt it just falls to the floor. It hits the door then the sill. I have to hold it up and guide it in. My audi and jetta dont have this problem they are 2001 models. Is this a common problem on porsche.

Not that I've heard of. Yours is broken or there is something stuck in it. With your DIY skills you can probably fix it yourself but it is under warranty so take it to the dealer.

I have a similar problem in my car. The belts, sometimes, just don't want to retract and have to be guided in gently.

Maybe the belt is bent at a cetain point and gets stuck there or maybe there is a slight tear on the edge of the belt that gets caught there. Whatever the case, just take it to the dealer and they will fix it.

I had the same problem in January. The drivers belt would not retract at all. Took car to the dealer (Beverly Hills Porsche) and they said that it would have to be replaced. They didn't have a red belt in stock. Two days later the new belt was in and it was replaced within 1/2 hour of me getting to the dealer. This would be a good time for you to change colors and just pay for the cost of the belt.

Ooh...guards red seatbelts! Yes go to the dealer. My M3 had this problem before. It was something with the mechanism. Don't remember. Easy fix for the dealer under warranty.
