Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Have a Sachs 890nm on mine - had some engine out work so had it he clutch fitted 'in case' of remap/exhaust.

Suggestion
Check the wear on the fork and small bearings .Slave and accumulator are not that expensive , good occasion to replace them.

I think you will need to replace your power steering pump with one from a tiptronic.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Morning all,
I am thinking about getting my turbo remapped at some point, and no doubt the clutch will need doing as I am sure it is on it's original item. What are the recommendations for a good upgrade? Heard the Sachs 890 is the one to have, is it worth replacing the slave cylinder or anything else while the box is out? :thumb:
What sort of cost are you looking at to get this done?
Fit new release bearing. Check the wear on the fork and small bearings .Slave and accumulator are not that expensive , good occasion to replace them.
I have the Sach 890NM . A must if you have a remap.
You can fit the GT3 kit . I didn't do it on mine. Some kit are pretty easy to fit edpecially when the box is out.

do sale a complete kit.

I'm not sure it is a given that the clutch will need doing. I remapped my car 15k miles ago and haven't had to change. AFAIK it is the original clutch.
I suppose I just put the kiss of death on it now!!!
The extra torque elicited from a
good
remap will kill a standard clutch pretty quickly (especially one that's been on the car a while) - mine went about 3 Kmiles after I got a proper map loaded

Would recommend it, feels no different to stock, very slightly fiercer, that's it. Would advise anyone having a clutch change to have this done, it's only ever a good thing!
Not at Bruntingthorpe.
I don't think there's anywhere in the UK that standard 180+ cars can hit their actual top speed as the last 5% takes so long to come.
Above 160 (?) the drag factor really kicks in. I found that 160-170 indicated took longer than 30-160. To keep the acceleration going seriously after 170 you need serious bhp and to make 190 at Bruntingthorpe that normally means 550+.
Or maybe its got the 890 already, theres not that much diff in price and its not the pulling away that will kill the clutch its higher up in the gears and pulling from low rpm in 4th 5th and 6th
