Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Put together a little DIY guide on how to raise the convertible top manually in case something breaks and you are stuck out in the elements. https://youtu.be/8l6tD5n3keE

POST 2Original post

Push Rod for Convertible Top Transmission Pivot The link with the red socket disintegrated but worse, the ball it attaches to came off. It is held onto the bracket with a nut and I have tried every position with the top and I cannot get my hand in there to even start the piece. Has anyone done this that can point me in the right direction as how to access this? a tip, if you are replacing the rod, don't adjust the cup on the threaded end, use the nut to adjust the length because mine broke after 1/4 turn. luckily, I now find eBay has just the socket ends. thanks in advance
