Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone on here able to assist with finding the full build spec / options for this car...? Be v grateful for any input.

POST 2Original post

You can get that info here. https://www.stuttcars.com/porsche-911-1998-996-options-codes/

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for your reply. It's great site and very useful. But I can't read the codes on the sticker! Not sure if it's my eyes, or they're just too faded. I wondered if anyone knows of a site that can produce the build sheet from the VIN number (which I can read...)! Thanks again. SW

POST 4Original post

Check your service book - mine has the same sticker in that as well. Much easier to read.

POST 5Original post

Do you have the service book? There is a sticker in the front of the book showing the spec/option codes which will be clear enough for you to decipher.. The bonnet sticker seems to suffer with condensation I guess if the car has been kept outside during its life

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Understood - thanks for replying. I don't own the car yet so no access to the service book! Cheers Simon

POST 7Original post

I've just spent 5mins trying to get that to look any better in photoshop, but the original image is too poor and blurry. I think you best bet is to ask the seller for a better picture or to look in the book.

POST 9Original post

On BoXa net, user @T911uk provides a build sheet print off for a specific VIN for £5.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
