I can recommend PIAA silicone blades without reservation!

im after a set of wiper blades for my 996 im usually a Bosch man
which ones are the best option?

I can recommend PIAA silicone blades without reservation!
The blades are impregnated with silicone which spreads a thin film while wiping - a bit like rain- X. This also acts like a lubricant, so no skipping or smearing and still operate silently after 8 years. They were recommended on herer before I bought them, so if you search on here, you will find others experience with them.
Expensive, but in my experience good VFM. I got mine from Camskill, but they no longer sell them. A quick Google found them on Amazon. You can usually buy the full blade ( which I did), or just the rubbers to fit in your old blade holder.
+1 for PIAA wiper blades.

I put Bosch Super Plus on mine last week and they seem fine so far (perfectly quiet and smooth).
One is ref. SP21JS and one is ref. SP22S
The drivers side one has an aerofoil built in.
Roughly £11.00 each.
No offence meant but I'm just not a fan of the aero blade wipers on the 996.
I'm sure the OEM blades or the Bosch ones look more period correct too.
The aero blades look like every other modern car has nowadays and often don't fit the curvature of the windscreen if your not careful.
