Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

New locking module fixed it (£380 fitted at OPC unfortunately), but I don't have a garage, so it had to be done

POST 2Original post

Hi, This has been discussed on here a few times, so you'll definitely find the answer if you do a quick search. From memory, it's either something to do with the lock mechanism or the sensor in the door. You check the latter by looking at whether the interior light stays on when you shut the door and to find the problem for the former it's trial and error in replacing the part in each door. Apologies if I've made a mistake in the recollection, but it's definitely been covered here a few times.

POST 3Original post

I had that recently... New locking module fixed it (£380 fitted at OPC unfortunately), but I don't have a garage, so it had to be done

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

£380 Gulp!! It Seems to be working again now tho i have allways got the one horn beep after locking the car which i thought was normal, but now i find it coz one of the sensors is still saying summat is open, glovebox? centre consol dunno i was messing about in the car with the remote trying to sort it and even mansged to get myself locked in the car !!!!

POST 5Original post

Mine worked again for a couple of days, but then went again. Indy will do it cheaper I suspect

POST 6Original post

it's also possible that it's the centre console. they are notorious for this.. make sure you push it firmly down until it click locks.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Found this info about the Alarm if anyone has the same problem not tried it yet ie pressing the button three times to lock in fault mode
