Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

How to raise-lower rear spoiler on 2004 C4S? I do not have button below PSM button on horseshoe.. The rocker switch by left foot does not work. Is there another way to raise-lower rear spoiler for various tasks in the garage. And no, garage is not moving at 75mph to do it automatically. Any fuses to check, which ones or any other things? BTW, the spoiler operates fine at speeds, I can just see it in rear view mirror. Comments or advice welcomed. YSMV.

POST 2Original post

Do you have the paper fuse list in the fuse panel "door?" That should tell you which fuse it is. It may or may not be the same as any other 996.

POST 3Original post

I guess if your switch isnt working, then maybe the spoiler isnt being deployed. Its surprisingly difficult to check at speed (even for passengers).

POST 4Original post

Sounds like it's just the switch if the spoiler is deploying at speed. Have you tried flipping the switch up and down a few times, in case it's something simple like corrosion on the connections? I'm guessing it doesn't get used very often.
