Always thought i will just to keep to buying new Boxster ..... But man do i love this 911 .1 Targa 4S !!

Beautiful. The red/black interior with the white dials looks great. If I ever get a 911 , it will be a Targa - that car is just magnificent in every way! Now go drive it!

Agree . Awesome looking and l also hope to read comparison, though I think 991.1 not .2 based on rear deck. Guess you won't be needing winter tires, great place for a Targa!

981 was for sure a bit more fun to plat with, but the alweeh drive in the new one is superior. Not a car i will use for the track.

I recently made the switch as well however from a Cayman GTS to a 991.2 GTS . I've only put ~600 miles on the new car before putting it to bed last week in anticipation of cold wintery weather arriving here in PA. My initial impressions are that the 911 GTS is roomier, more powerful and handles (on the road) equally as well as the Cayman using a slightly different approach (mid vs rear engine). Although I prefer a more pure sports car (coupe - no sunroof), the Targa is a great compromise between the coupe and the Cab. Enjoy it! :cheers:
