I've just tried with some Alpine keys, it didn't work. Can someone tell me if they have removed the HU without the original keys? Do you pull the keys out or in? if that makes sence. I have the cdr32 and i want to look at the back of the unit to see if a Becker 7950 will fit straight in. Thanks for the help.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I think it will; be quicker to look at the handbook for the rear view of the 32. There is a pic/link I posted recently. If you want to get it out you can take off the two trim pieces at the side of the aircon/cd unit-- lever them off gently with the screwdriver head wrapped in a thin piece of material and then squeeze in the retaining clips at the base of the unit to release. You may have to take out the aircon unit to get it back in (take off the surround trim and unscrew the four screws -- bit of a faff but doable).
Good idea Paul, I forgot James Fuller the last owner sent me a PDF for the sterio, just had a look and it looks identical connectors consisting of 3 blocks. Again thanks for the reply.
