Over winter I locked and unlocked it (after using key to re-enable remote), and seemed to sound alright.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone ever experience their door lock/unlock using the key, cause noisy operation? Almost sounds like a bad yet light grinding sound. Over winter I locked and unlocked it (after using key to re-enable remote), and seemed to sound alright. but after multiple locks, and unlocks, still seems to have a bit of a "scarry" grinding sound. Still work allright though..... (for now "fingers crossed") Would this be an adjustment that can be made to the locks? or does it sound like an expensive ecu for my door locks , or something similar? thanks Everyone for your imput AJ.
