Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sorry if this has been discussed before but I did a forum search and found nothing about my problem. Basically, the cab roof locked in the open position. Checked fuses etc, then noticed that handbrake warning light on dash was not working (with help from Hartech!). Pumping handbrake suddenly brought hood into life. So there must be a sticky microswitch somewhere. Any ideas? Thanks very much!

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

any ideas here? will also have a look on rennlist.

POST 3Original post

Renntech might be worth a look too. http://www.renntech.org/forums/tutorials/article/203-convertible-top-compartment-lid-is-stuck-closed/ Don't know if that helps, your have to register if your not already?.

POST 4Original post

The handbrake switch is cheap enough, at less than £4, but you have to remove the console to change it. About a one hour job for an indy.
