It was serviced ~2k miles ago, not sure which one, will need to check but should be good for another 7k?

Suggestion
Not a problem at all in itself if its for cosmetic reasons, but just check its not had a prang, or if it has, that any repairs are spot-on.

not sure though who I could get to do a (knowledgeable) PPI in Ireland, it would be great if anyone on this forum that can recommend someone here.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello guys... great forum!!
I currently drive a Skyline GTT and having driven my first 996 last week I intend on buying one and need to ask for your experienced opinions...
The one I'm considering has high miles ... just under 100k, is '98, silver C2 with factory GT3 kit, black leather elec seats, air con & S/R. It is auto/tip, has split rim 18" (design? rims)
Condition... seems to be immac... <10 light stone chips (not gone through primer) and no slight dents, dings, etc... really really clean
She has full stamped service history and had a 111 point Porsche check - ~2K miles ago (BTW I'm and car is in Ireland - UK import on UK plates). She has 4 brand new P-Zeros and brake pads etc look as new.
Driving her there isn't a rattle or squeek, even on v-rough country road and acceleration, brakes seem to be perfect...
What do you think she is worth guys?
Really appreciate your comments... I want to get behind the wheel of one (as the owner)
Sounds like about £30,000 to me...
... OK - only joking as it's very similar to my own car
Too old for warranty, so why the 111 point check? Anyway, sounds a good car, and tips are reported to have less problems.
I would love to say I think it's worth more, but it sounds like a sub-£20k car to me privately :?
Thanks for the replies... While I'd love to buy this now, my (for once) brain is telling me not to rush into this particular one due to the high mileage and tiptronic, although the tiptronic doesn't seem to be less appealing in general and having driven this one I don't mind the tip/auto...
The guy (seems very genuine) is looking for €33k but I'm sure I would get it for €29k (~£21.5K). It was serviced ~2k miles ago, not sure which one, will need to check but should be good for another 7k?
I am considering going to the UK for one but the difficulties are, the guy selling might not turn up, car could be crap, etc... at least I've seen the one here and it seems good. I have looked on pistonheads, Autotrader, etc... any GT3 kitted C2 for sale that someone would recommend?
Is £21.5k too much for the one prev mentioned?
Thanks again (sorry for long posts)
:welcome:
Welcome to 911uk,
The car sounds like £18k - £22k, but this will depend on history (inc. bills + MOT's) and how the car gets on following a PPI !
111 Check is not enough, you need someone like JZM,PARR or Fearnsport to give it the once over..
Hope this helps.
Dan
To be devil's advocate, I'm suspicious when you say the front is immaculate, except for 10 stonechips. A 100k miler will pick up more than that, so I'd say its probably had a front end respray. Not a problem at all in itself if its for cosmetic reasons, but just check its not had a prang, or if it has, that any repairs are spot-on.
Look for the sticker with codes on under the bonnet lid- if its not there, its likely to have had a new bonnet.
I wouldn't worry about the miles- as Wattie and I will tell you, they can handle the miles well as long as the maintenance is done.
As long as it all checks out, and is the right money, then it sounds great 8)
Just had my 96k service and the only thing that was needed extra to the schedule was a sidelight bulb
  Andy from ProMax collected and returned the car and commented on how nicely it drove too...
Now it's run in, I can start driving it properly
Cheers.. not sure though who I could get to do a (knowledgeable) PPI in Ireland, it would be great if anyone on this forum that can recommend someone here. :?:
I did look under the the bonnet (but not for the sticker - good point) and it looked very original. I must re-examine and spend more time at the service history and stack of bills with the car... from the initial quick glance a few seals and bushings, etc had been replaced... normal stuff I guess...
