Need to replace left and right radiators in the C4S. Its at my own cost, having been quoted £ 1250, which I find a little offensive, parts at best OEM price is circa of £ 400 pounds. It cant be much more than 6 hours in labour !!! IMO Are the rads the same as the C2/C4 or are they specific to the C4S/Turbo. I consider myself a capable having done it before on a VW. Is there anything peculiar about the 996 that makes this job particularly difficult ? I am also after Part Nos if some one would be so kind.

Hi, Im not able to tell you how easy the job is to do yourself having not done the job myself although I am sure someone will be along soon to help you out.... As for the parts I downloaded the porsche parts catalogue from their website (all FOC) and although it takes a bit of searching i have found it very very usefull. There are seperate downoads for each model IIRC and all part numbers are listed for everything!! If you have any problem finding it let me know....

was quoted £1000 at a specialist for my C4, but luckily, mine were covered under warranty.... not sure if they are different rads..am sure someone will provide the info needed.
