Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

I assume the answer to this question is a going to be "no" but just want to confirm. Will a 987.1 aftermarket front lip fit on a 987.2 front bumper?

POST 2Original post

No, wont work. Even the 987.2 Boxster bumper is different from the Cayman and are not interchangeable. Unfortunately, there are just not many options for a front lip on the 987.2 Cayman . The Maxton Design 987.2 Cayman lip won’t fit the 987.2 Cayman . Look into the Joe Toth lip - I haven’t had any luck reaching them to answer questions.

POST 3Original post

EMC2DESIGN has a Boxster 987.2 lip but not a Cayman , and that kinda bums me out, because I have their 997.2 set (front rear and sides) on my 911 and it's glorious.
