I also spoke with the c4s seller today and found out he was not nice to deal with at all - basically told me to look for another car after I started asking a few basic questions about the service history (oil change frequency, imsb brand, mod history), so that option is off the table now anyways.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm on my journey to buying my first 911 and have found a remarkably similar 996 C4S and 40 Jahre Anniversary edition. I'd love opinions on which to go for. Use case: I live in Vancouver, BC, and plan to drive the car year round on weekend joyrides. Our shared "daily" driver only gets about 8k km (5k mi) per year since I cycle commute to work and my partner works from home, so I anticipate the 911 will only get 3k km/2k mi per year of use. I like the idea of taking the 911 on the occasional ski trip with winter tires and skis on the roof (plowed roads with a good car wash after), but would primarily drive the car in good weather. I enjoy the handling feel of a good car on twisty roads and would also consider going to a track once or twice, but don't expect I would push a 911 to its limit often if ever and certainly won't be doing regular track days. I expect mostly to enjoy the car on local day trips through backroads and mountains. The cars: As mentioned, they are remarkably similar. Both cars have: - Clean Carfax - Manual transmission - Silver on black (GT Silver with the dark grey leather on the 40 Jahre of course, Arctic silver on Black for the C4S) - 60k miles/90k km - IMSB and clutch changed at 40k miles/60k km - Long-term owners with lots of service records - both claim the car is turnkey ready with no mechanical issues - Minor cosmetic flaws, but no major exterior or interior damage - Similar asking prices - roughly 39k USD for the 40 Jahre and 43k USD for the 4S - close enough that it doesn't make a big difference to me. 4S highlights: - Tech Art intake and exhaust as well as Fuchs-style black wheels 40 Jahre highlights: - Bone stock as far as I can tell. I'm not sure if the owner has the matching luggage set yet (but I'm planning to ask) Current thoughts: This boils down to looks vs. performance for me. I started my 911 search looking for a C4S because of the wide body stance and reflector bar, both of which remind me of the 930s and 964s that turned 6 year old me into a lifelong 911 fan. However, the 40 Jahre appeals to me with the more driver focused package with the X51 powertrain, upgraded suspension, and RWD set-up. I also appreciate the limited edition nature of the 40 Jahre (although one could argue the C4S is also somewhat limited if looking for only silver on black with manual transmission). I had previously worried about AWD vs. RWD during the winter, but most of my reading has suggested the C4S AWD is really designed to maximize traction out of corners, so unlikely to affect winter driving at slow speeds. I'm having a really tough time deciding which one I might like to pursue, especially as I haven't had an opportunity to compare the driving experiences in either of these cars first hand. My plan is to ask the owners a few more questions about the cars histories and then pick one to send for a PPI and potentially purchase. Assuming neither owner sends me bad vibes when I chat further, I'm curious which car you would recommend. I know I ultimately need to decide for myself, but would love the community's thoughts on what you think would be the best fit for me or what you would choose for yourself. Do I go for the C4S stunning looks or the driver experience of the 40 Jahre? Or something else and why?!

POST 2Original post

I love the looks of the C4S, but if it were me I'd say all points towards getting the 40J. Cheaper, unmodified, lighter, more powerful, rarer, etc.

POST 3Original post

Both are great cars with two different looks and two different driving experiences. Only you can make the call as to which one is a better fit. Go see them and drive them to pinpoint your preference. Either way, get the service history to see what's been done and when. But more importantly, to see what hasn't been done to the cars that should have been done over the past 20 years. Unless the owner is an avid 996 guy and has been actively servicing the car and refreshing parts along the way (yep there are many of us), pretty good bet that you will need to spend between $5-15k on parts and service on a 20 year old car to bring it up to condition. Get a thorough PPI done with a borescope from the sump to check the condition of the sleeves for borescoring. See what bits are in the sump and oil filter. Use the service history of when parts were replaced to cross check with PPI. I would also get a 3 day turnaround oil test kit from LN engineering and have the indy take an oil sample and send it out for testing immediately to get the results to add to your decision making. Any of the 996s are awesome cars. Get the one that has been maintained the best, that is in the best mechanical shape with the smoothest bores you can find. Then service the hell out of it and drive it like you mean it. The 996 is an incredible car.

POST 4Original post

What GC996 said + I'll chime in as I was in a similar situation few years back. I was privileged enough to be able to drive my friends C4S for about 3 months and 3k miles so got a good feel for the car. I very much enjoyed the car and looked for one like it but ended up with a 40AE car (#1111) and very happy I did. C4S has it's wide body looks which I loved and with the AWD, it gives you a lot more confidence in the corners. With that, the steering felt a bit heavier and muted to me when compared to a RWD car. Here are a few reasons why I ended up choosing the 40AE: - X51 package with LSD. It may be only 25HP but the way the power is delivered, especially at the top end really makes it different from the standard M96. The throttle pedal also always felt a bit sharper to me as well. Could be something in the X51 specific ECU map. - Not sure if the C4S you're looking at has full leather but the 40AE just felt nicer to me. You get full leather everywhere and I really like the natural gray color vs black. - My car had the sport seats which I adore. - As sexy as the C4S looks, I really like the narrow body look and you get some of the C4S/Turbo benefits of the bumper and larger radiators with the 40AE - With the lighter steering of RWD, the car feels more alive and planted at the same time. It's really an amazing drivers car and hope you get a chance to drive it as much as you can. - GT Silver is a really cool color which is now making more of a come back. At the time 40AE was the only car besides the Carrera GT that was painted in GT Silver from factory. For 997 it was like a $10k option. No matter your choice, as Glenn mentioned, do a PPI and examine the records. As great as the X51 motor is, it's not immune from bore scoring and other issues a standard M96 would have. The equation is easy - drive it often and hard, oil changes every 5k miles and do the maintenance and you should be a happy owner.

POST 5Original post

To me this is slam dunk Jahre. C4Ss are beautiful but arctic is meh and the Jahre looks better than almost any 996 imo. You get looks plus performance - and the element of special. Those interiors are beautiful, that natural leather is amazing.

POST 6Original post

C4S. Why?: - Widebody. - All wheel drive (you live in Canada, bro) - You and other people (even non-Porsche people) will respond to the widebody. With the 40 Jahre, you have to explain why it's special...even to Porsche people. And like they say, it's like a joke, if you have to explain it, it's not funny.

POST 7Original post

Not that future values should at all be a determining factor in which one you go for, but I'd wager that the 40th Jahre will eventually blow past the value of the C4S as time goes on, should you want to sell the vehicle down the road. The only thing the C4S has over the Jahre is the heckblende, and that's just a visual/subjective thing.

POST 8Original post

I've only had people's interest peak when they saw a narrow body car with a C4S/Turbo front end. The variety of the cars is what typically gets folks excited and variety is the spice of life If you care about the values, keep in mind that out of the 1963 cars only 800 were meant for the NA market. Out of those some have met their end and the registry has never accounted for all cars. Ted has done a great job keeping track but we think it's possible that not all 1963 were actually produced, making it a bit more rare.

POST 9Original post

Quotes source post: 19425607

I agree with the above. The 40 Jahre has the best chance of holding its value or going up. The down side of that is you might be a little more nervous about doing ski trips with it, etc. The C4S might be more care free in that regard.

POST 10Original post

I used to be into sneakers. I literally had over 100 pair of "special" sneakers. I had rare 1/200 pairs made sneakers. I would strut like a peacock when I left to go out wearing them. One evening when getting ready to go out, I put on some of my most rare kicks. My girlfriend at the time was like, "Why don't you wear those?", as she points to some regular white sneakers that I got from the mall. Nothing special. I'm like, "But, these are 1 of 200 pairs made. Designed by so-and-so in Japan. These logos mean...". And she's like, "Yah. Whatever. The other ones look better." To me, the widebody C4S looks better than all narrow body cars. For me , the hips and red bar from that back is, [chef's kiss], perfect. The only thing as good or better are some older generation widebodies with the red bars. But, that's just my opinion...which OP asked for.

POST 11Original post

You can love wide bodies all you want but I totally disagree in regards to having to explain why the Jahre is special. It pops.

POST 12Original post

Quotes source post: 19425692

I appreciate the anecdote, but the 40th Jahre isnt just rare. It has more power than the standard C4S, RWD instead of AWD, and it has the LSD if that matters for ones driving purposes. I personally like the look of the C4S more, but there are meaningful upgrades that the Jahre has that the C4S doesnt. The fact that the Jahre is probably the better vehicle (assuming condition being equal) would make it a no brainer choice especially since it is cheaper in this case.

POST 13Original post

Quotes source post: 19425716

How is RWD an advantage over AWD for OP? How much HP are we talking? Anything that anyone would notice?

POST 14Original post

Quotes source post: 19425734

345 vs 320 definitely noticeable plus the lsd.

POST 15Original post

Quotes source post: 19425754

Dude, 25HP is not noticeable. AWD acceleration is noticeable and quantifiable.

POST 16Original post

Like I said, It's not just 25HP but how it's delivered. You can definitely feel it pull harder in the upper rev range. I've driven both cars for an extended period of time and could tell the difference. And of course AWD is better in the snow but RWD will hold its own with a set of good tires. Don't forget rear engine weight over rear driven axles + solid tires = traction.

POST 17Original post

Porsche could have chosen the Carrera 4S as the canvas for their 40 Jahre anniversary model but they chose the Carrera 2. That says it all, really.

POST 18Original post

The question isn't about if they can hold their own. The question is about which one is better for OP's intended usage: Emphasis mine. Y'all gon' have OP in a ditch or off the side of a mountain 😂

POST 19Original post

Quotes source post: 19425870

Last post then I'm out. That says absolutely nothing. They could have also chosen a Turbo, GT3, or GT2, which are objectively superior to anything mentioned so far...but they didn't.

POST 20Original post

Quotes source post: 19425876

I reluctantly agree with you. While (having owned a C4 and C2 996.1's) I very strongly prefer 2wd for normal driving, I've heard that the C2 is also quite competent in snow (versus other cars because of rear engine), and I would take the 40 Jahre over the C4S all day long because lightness is hugely important to me (helped by the power bump on the Jahre) -- for the OP's situation, with frequent snow use, I don't know how you don't go with AWD. From every other perspective, though, I'd pick the 40 Jarhe.

POST 21Original post

Both are great cars. Comes down to your preference. Kinda like a room full of pretty blondes, brunettes or red heads. One will catch your eye first. But yeah, you can feel 25 more HP. Before the 40AE came out, I had the chance to feel the difference between my 996.2 and a 996.2 X51 on the track at Road America back in the mid 2000s. Felt it on the straights as you would wind thru the gears. I never drove a C4S in the snow so I don't know if it has a significant advantage to a C2. But I have owned 9 different Audis over the last 30 years knowing I have AWD for the snow. However, I have driven my C2 with snow tires and a guard LSD in the snow and it cut right thru. Alot of fun. Never had any problems with my C2 in the cold and wet eithet. Key is driving with the right tires in the right conditions. Can't go wrong with either as long as they are in good mechanical shape.

POST 22Original post

Quotes source post: 19424638

Can you? This is the most important piece and would likely resolve your decision.

POST 23Original post

I've owned both... a 2002 C4S and currently have a 40th Jahre. The 40th is WAY faster vs. the C4S. C4S is one of the heaviest 996's ever made and from my experience was a bit dull to drive. Now the C4S does look fantastic and for your application of using 24/7 in the north it does make sense. But if it tells you anything, I never really loved the C4S but the Jahre is going to be in my garage forever if that says anything. Good luck with the choice, I'm sure you will end up where you are supposed to be.

POST 24 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 19426162

Yeah I wish it were easier to find examples to drive. I haven't found most sellers being willing to allow test drives unfortunately. I also got a PCA 'test drive' membership (their membership for non-porsche owners) and reached out to my local chapter a few times but heard nothing unfortunately. Appreciate all the input from everyone. Leaning towards the Jahre the more I look into it. I also spoke with the c4s seller today and found out he was not nice to deal with at all - basically told me to look for another car after I started asking a few basic questions about the service history (oil change frequency, imsb brand, mod history), so that option is off the table now anyways.

POST 25Original post

Take your time and be selective. If the owner doesn't want to share info, it means they didn't do what they were supposed to do over its life. Besides, it's now a buyers market.

POST 26Original post

OP - Everyone is on point. All the comments are correct. My two bits: When I look at a Porsche, any Porsche, a subtle earworm background symphony plays in my head. A C4S or 40J kicks the volume up to a 7 right away. Color and sound are good for a bump to an 8 or 9. Sitting in a 40J with sport seats gets me to a 9. After the first corner on a track at 7000 rpm, the 40J can take it to 11. The C4S, in any color, is fast-looking parked in the garage. Those hips! What makes an Adele or Aretha for you? Two of the best voices ever put on earth. Hard to go wrong choosing one woman over the other. The cars? C4S is one of the most beautiful cars made (A 360 Modena is up there too). 40 Jahre is an expression of what Porsche designers thought best captured the spirit of the 996. Do whatever it takes to drive them both. Youll know which voice takes you over and enthralls you.

POST 27Original post

On paper they might have similar specs, but the proof is in the pudding. Drive both and you'll know which one is likely better. While I'd suggest the C4S because Canada, snow and all that you could always get a set of snow wheels/ tires and send it...

POST 28Original post

It looks like the 40 Jahre is about 200 lbs lighter than the C4s. The C4S (coupe/6-speed) weighs 3240 lbs according to factory ( https://www.excellence-mag.com/resources/specs/92 ) versus 3020 lbs for the 40 Jahre ( https://www.ultimatespecs.com/car-sp...-40-Jahre.html ). Excellence uses Porsche factory specs for their numbers (C4S) -- not sure what "UltimateSpecs" uses, but their weights for other 996 models are within less than 10 lbs of factory numbers, so it seems like their number for the 40 Jahre should be quite close. Actual weight of a given car will vary based upon options (and modifications!), but I think the factory numbers are accurate for showing the weight differences between different flavors of 996.

-200lbs +25HP (rumoured more, but dumbed down by Porsche to not compete w/ GT3) LSD M030 suspension = a significantly more visceral driving experience in the Jahre But on the other hand, the C4S is a looker and def makes sense for someone who has to deal with snowy winters.

POST 30Original post

I have a 40 jahre and the C4 is probably a better choice considering how you plan on using it. The 40 jahre is a special car and very fun to drive but like the other guy mentioned no one knows about the car. Ive been to several pca events and not one Porsche person knows it even exists.

POST 31Original post

Another vote for the 40 Jahre 911. I own Nr. 0711, having bought it in Aug 2012 with about 67K on the clock. Have 95K now. If you want to know more about that model, in addition to several current owners in this thread, you can visit our worldwide Registry (links in my signature below).

<rant> I don't get these people that want to sell their car privately (and probably want a premium price) but don't want to deal with questions or let people test drive. They need to get over themselves. It's a $30K 25 year old car. Not a $200K Ferrari. If you don't want to deal with people take it to a dealership and trade it in. I think this brand sometimes attracts people with egos who don't like being questioned. </rant> If you're really young and seem like you're in over your head I can see why people might not want to offer a test drive. I'm not seeing that in your posts though. When I bought mine 4 out of the 5 of the owners whose cars I physically looked at let me test drive it. The other one might have if I had asked but I was really tired that day and didn't want to deal with it. The first person I dealt with was out of state. He was fine to deal with until I told him I was no longer interested in the car due to oil change frequency. He changed it every 10K miles no matter how many years had gone by. It was 20 years old and had 30K miles on it (so, 3 oil changes in 20 years?). He accused me of trying to get a car at a bargain basement price.

POST 33Original post

A few thoughts: I believe all of the C4S came with full leather interior, so no difference there. The AE may have the M030 option, but the C4S has the Turbo suspension and brakes. (Approximately the Turbo suspension, the springs and shocks are tuned to the C4S). And I can't recall if M030 comes with bigger brakes. Not sure which would be better, but the performance may be about the same. The AE has an LSD, but the AWD in the C4S performs that same function. So no real difference there. I like the OP's choice based on the seller. When we buy these things we are not just buying the car, we are also buying the seller.

Your rant sounds exactly like the C4S seller I dealt with (and won't be buying from). Found a dealer who's willing to let me go for a test drive in a C4S and I'm thinking the 40J owner will let me take it for a spin as well off the back of our meet and greet phone call. It may be because I look a bit younger than I am - I'm in my mid-30s, but probably look like I'm 25. Looks like most folks are leaning towards the 40J over a C4S which I am now as well, but I'm hoping the drives will help to solidify my instincts.

natural leather > full leather, all day long. Not even close. lsd and awd are in no way the same thing turbo suspension is only different in that it accounts for additional weight in the front end (its not any different than the narrow body c4 suspension either). Its not an upgrade. M030 IS an upgrade

Got to check out the 40J today. Super nice owner - let me take it for a spin and took me on some local roads where I was able to open it up a couple of times. I was surprised with how free revving the engine was and how much midrange torque was available (my only real comparison is a 2007 Boxster I last drove almost 10 years ago though). It's a way more beautiful car in person than in photos. I think it's hard to capture how curvy the narrow body is in photos. Minimal options on this one - just power seats, Bose, and a CD changer; it's very much a driver's car. The only bummer is there are no records before the current owner (who's had it since 2015) and this includes no records of the IMSB replacement (reportedly done at 63k km). Also no records of even a minor service being done and the owner has only done annual oil changes (albeit the car has been trouble-free for him for almost 9 years). The stars seem to have aligned and I'm set-up for a test drive of a C4S on Saturday. Will see how I feel after that!

POST 38Original post

40AE cars have the X51 engine package. Cams, head work, tune, some oiling stuff too. That is going to be a livelier engine than a standard M9x.

POST 39Original post

I've dubbed the 40AE the GTS of the 996 gen, which means that it already came with most of the good options from factory. There wasn't much you could add to it besides the comfort seats (sport seats were the default actually but for some reason many cars in US were spec'd with comfort seats) and navigation unit. It seems like you liked the car and the owner seems to be reasonable. I'd factor in the IMS and a service into the offer and go from there. Sadly, if no records, you don't want to go by someone's word. Get a solid PPI and proceed accordingly.

If the IMS was replaced with an LN Engineering product (and correctly registered) you can check the VIN here to see if it is on file: https://lnengineering.com/ims-lookup.html

POST 41Original post

definately 40J. and i know many people wont agree, but you could then throw the oem aerokit wing on the back as well. then youll really be able to make it "your own". But thats just me lol

POST 42 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Update, for those who are interested. I drove the C4S on Saturday and was frankly underwhelmed after having driven the 40th AE. I think the combination of the X51 engine, suspension, RWD, and lighter weight (~400 lbs!) in the 40th AE really give it a lot more zip and road feel compared to the C4S which felt sluggish in comparison. The C4S does, in my opinion, have the more beautiful lines and I still love the reflector bar, but as a driving machine, the 40th AE takes the cake easily. Really glad I took the time and effort to drive both cars before making a decision. I totally get the "sheep in wolf's clothing" analogy that so many people use when describing the C4S. I'm going to move forward with negotiating the 40th AE (which isn't quite as well sorted as I had thought, but hopefully the seller will be reasonable with negotiations).

POST 43Original post

Great to hear! I lived in Vancouver for 30 years, and I'd say unless you were planning on going skiing every weekend, you don't need AWD, just some good all seasons... Best of luck on the 40J! Had I known better when I was first buying my 911 C2, I probably would have searched out a 40J instead...

POST 44Original post

That's actually really good to hear. Hopefully you can pick up the 40J for a good price! Good Luck!

POST 45Original post

I see theres no need for me to give my $.02 as the decision has been made, but the 40th is superb. I have #405 and couldnt be happier with the car. GLWS!

I dont buy cars for what other people may or may not think of them. I buy a car for the driving experience. The C4S is a fatter, heavier, dynamically inferior, less powerful 911, and put in those stark terms, the 40th Anniversary wins hands down.

POST 48Original post

Quotes source post: 19458992

Counterpoint: I don't push any of my vehicles to their limits. I do admire how they look even they are not moving. So, for me, I prefer a car that looks better but is marginally inferior in performance. Real talk, let's not act like how these cars look isn't a major reason why we have them. Hell, if it was about performance, everyone in this forum could take the money spent and get a better-performing car and have money left over. I think the 996 C4S is one of the best looking 911's ever...especially from the rear.

Real talk : What exactly does "you and other people will respond to the widebody" mean ? You'll forgive me for saying, but you seem to be somewhat hung up on what other people's reactions will be to your car. Why ? Because you're trying to impress them ? So the 40 Jahre requires you to explain that it's special, but the C4S doesn't ? How have you arrived at that conclusion ? But also why would you feel the need to explain why your car is "special" ? I've owned several 996.1 GT3's, a 996 GT3 RS and a couple of 996 GT2's, and not once have I felt the need to explain to anyone why they're "special". Whether other people like or dislike my car/s, or think they're "special" doesn't concern me. Why would it ? 996 C4S rear one of the best looking 911's ever. Bold statement when Porsche have produced so many fantastic looking cars over the years.

POST 51Original post

If I was a trust fund kid, I would have one of every 996 derivation. I like them all. But my preference is the narrow body 996. To me, the athletic look of the 996 NB with 15mm spacers looks damn good from behind. But I married a brunette. Some of you may have married blondes or red heads.

POST 53Original post

They are great articles. No question. how it looks to you, the bells and whistles it comes with, what you are going to use it for (purpose), how it handles in relation to your intended purpose, all come into play. The 996 that you end up with has to be the right fit for you. Quite frankly, I jump up and down when someone buys a 996. Don't care which one as long as it's the right 996 for the owner. These cars are to great of a sports car not to have expetienced owning and driving one.

POST 54Original post

The thing that (in my experience) is unique to the 996 is the fact that they drive very very differently based upon options (most significantly Tip/6sp and C2/C4). My first 2001 996.1 Tip C4 Coupe (bought for my wife when 996's were new CPO with 6k miles) felt totally different than the 2000 996.1 6-speed, C2, Coupe we have now. They didn't feel like the same cars at all -- it's not even a little bit subtle. Look at @connect_yvr 's post #43 -- the differences are not subtle. It's easy to think these are "shades of gray" differences -- that's certainly the case regarding options for 99% of other brands and models of cars, but for the 996, options/models make a huge difference. It's best to drive all the variations you can and find what works for you -- but don't think the differences between them are subtle -- they are not.

POST 55 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 19459417

Totally agree that the c4s is one of the best looking rear ends ever however I would say the performance difference between that and the 40J isn't what I would call marginal. I've never been to a track day nor have I ever really pushed any car hard for more than a few seconds at a time, but even on a 10 minute test drive I would say the performance difference (road feel, handling, and acceleration) was better described as 'dramatic'. I had been quite torn before the test drives but after, there was no question what to go for.

Dude, I was hoping for some well-reasoned responses to your somewhat opinionated comments, not an argument. Because ultimately your comment that the 40 Jahre needs explaining, and thus it fails when it comes to impressing others, could also be applied to the C4S. Impressed onlooker on seeing a C4S (who doesnt know a lot about Porsches) : Nice car, is it the Turbo ? C4S owner : No, it looks like a Turbo, has Turbo brakes, and Turbo suspension, but isnt a Turbo Confused onlooker : So its a 911 Turbo without the Turbo engine ? A de-Turboed Turbo then ? C4S owner : Errr, yes you could say that. Confused onlooker : Why would you buy a de-Turboed Turbo ? Like you said, if you have to explain it Compare and contrast with the impressed onlooker on seeing a 40 Jahre : Nice car, what is it ? 40 Jahre owner : Its a limited edition car Porsche built to celebrate 40 years of 911 production, its highly specified, utilises the same paint colour used on the Carrera GT supercar, and has a more powerful engine and upgraded suspension when compared to a standard 911 Impressed onlooker : Lovely, sounds very special

POST 57Original post

So the owner of the 40J only did oil changes since 2015? Do budget in a major service and if you can, make sure to scope the engine for bore scoring BEFORE you purchase. Have it tested with for cam deviations etc with Durametric / PIWIS. I think it's a little bit of a red flag and there's definitely some service overdue. Also, you don't know what was done to the IMS bearing so it would be wise to budget a replacement in as well.

POST 58 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 19460576

Yup. Thanks for the cautionary advice. All of that has been discussed and budgeted. It was a big part of negotiating the price down and I'm scheduled for a PPI on Wednesday that starts with a borescope through the sump. If the scope is good then I'm prepared for a full major service to get everything ship shape assuming no other major faults are seen on the rest of the PPI.

Both options that youre considering are great cars. You cant go wrong either way. Pick the one that you like the best and dont get caught up in the minutiae of why one is supposedly better than the other one. When I bought a 996 (my first 911), this was an easy decision for me.
